This famous Indian scientist is known for her great contribution to the world of physics which made him earn the Nobel Prize in 1930 for the invention of the Raman Effect. C.V Raman was awarded with the title of “SIR” because of his crisp and sharp scientific temperament. He is pride of India.
Homi Jehangir Bhabha:

A.P.J Abdul Kalam:
Known as the missile man of India because of his crucial role in the development of India’s missile and nuclear weapons program. He also served as the President of India and is also considered as the most famous President of all time that India has got. He came from a very poor family and has written many books which are a source of inspiration for millions of his fans. He died while delivering a science lecture.
The first ever Indian recipient of the A.M. Turing award, this computer scientist is well known for its contribution and great work related to large scale artificial intelligence systems. Artificial intelligence is a reality nowadays, but the dream of AI was seen by Raj Reddy in past.
Har Gobind Khorana:
This Indian American scientist was a leading bio chemist, who was honored by the Nobel Prize in 1968 for its outstanding research in synthesis of proteins and interpretation of genetic code. DNA and RNA structure, on which molecular biology is dependent, was very well explained by Khorana in his thesis.
One of the greatest physicists of the 20th century, this man got a Nobel Prize in 1983 for his great work in astrophysics and mathematics and for the well known work called the Chandrasekhar limit. India remembers Chandershekar and has named various science projects after him. He was one of the greatest astrophysicist of India.
Satyendra Nath Bose:
The Bose Einstein Theory by this guy made him a worldwide fame and even led to the naming of an atomic particle called BOSON after his name. His proximity with Einstein made him popular in India. He was a man of great repute and scientific knowledge.
Dr. Yellapragada Subbarao:
This scientist of Indian origin is well acclaimed for its discovery of a number of life saving antibiotics. Antibiotics and their regular consumption can make them ineffective. Dr. Yellapragada Subbarao dedicated his whole life in research of harmless antibiotics and cheap medication.
