Mahindra Gusto 125cc

The whole new Mahindra Gusto with 125CC power engine is definitely going to take one on smooth ride with great mileage. The 125CC Mahindra Gusto scooter has power pact features and good performance. It looks similar to its older version of 110CC but has a greater pick up with more powerful performance. It has done a better justice but it will completely depend on its customer thumbs up when it is launch come Feb.

Style and Design:

On comparing it to the previous model, no much change has been made. The front apron was although redesigned for better appearance. Colour was changed with new graphics attracting eye and dual tone colour making it bright. The dual colour concept possibly might grab attention for more buyers. The analogue instrument body is enhanced and houses speedometer, fuel indication, odometer and lights. It has its basic of adjusting seats, remote flip key but storage cabinet is poorly designed. It has LED lamps for better visibility and style. Seats are comfortable and cushioning is soft.

Power:

The major difference between the new 125CC Gusto with its older sibling is the engine power. This model has more powerful 125CC M-Tec power plant which gives performance benefit. It has a single cylinder motor which drives through 8.7 PS of power along with a peak torque of 10Nm. The speed can be bought to fairly justified range with a pick up 70kmph. The powerful engine is smooth and strong which runs the scooter with fine refinement.

Speed:

It has 12 inch diameter wheels along with tubeless tyres which renders to its speed and efficiency, with sometimes might be a hassle with its speed of 125 kg. It is slightly heavy on the rears. It offers a great mileage through of up to 40 – 45 km. It gives a very smooth ride which is the pro point of Mahindra Gusto 125, takes care of road breaks and potholes, and doesn’t give you that headache stimulating bump. It has 165mm of ground clearance. Speed can be broken and bike can come to a pause with drum brakes.

Price and others:

The price is critical of the design and so far has not been fairly decided. At the time when it is launched one can judge if the prices are fair or over the top. To keep the competitors away from lurking around, Mahindra needs to plan the price sheet. There are many features which could have been added to the scooter like easy accessible fuel tank to save the hassle of getting up to uncover the seat to fill tank, a charging point would have better. However, its launch will be a deciding factor of how well it connects to people and how well it does on sales prospective.
